Today just sucked.  I won't even talk about it, because it's nobody's business really.  Things just get to me sometimes.  Build up, and then there's one day where any second I'm bound to burst into tears.  I don't know wtf is wrong with me.  I just want this semester to be over.

I wish I didn't worry so much about everything like I do.

Woo.. so much fun.  Just started classes a couple weeks ago, feels like it's been forever already though!  In August, I went to Arizona, which was dang awesome and I can't wait to go back.  Fort Huachuca, Tombstone, Bisbee, Nogales.. fun stuff.  Maybe I'll live somewhere out west one day.  Guess it depends where my degree/s get me.

So this semester, it's Organic Chemistry, Microbiology, Development of Horse Breeds, Southern Forages, and Intermediate Horsemanship.  I'm going to try to do a research project this semester, depends on if it gets turned in or not.  I sorta joined the Women in Science and Engineering club.  I have also got to graduate by May of '08, and I can do it, if I take 14 hours this coming summer and keep the fall and spring full too..  I also need to find a horse vet to work for.  I guess I'll just have to settle for UT for vet school (if I even get accepted).. I was told I could have a horse again if I move back home.. hell of a drive every day.. but.. maybe for a horse it's worth it, and it's cheaper than an apartment.  Damn, I just can't get away from Rockwood.  But that's over a year away.. year and half or so.

I haven't posted in several weeks.

Well, I went home for the 4th of July.  It was okay.  My Grandpa just isn't the same anymore.  But I've been down this road before.. I'm just glad I got to know him before all the craziness happened.  It still amazes me how one substance, alcohol, can wreak such havoc on an entire family just because of one person's addiction to it.

I started classes last Monday.  Much like the rest of the world, I despise history when it's shoved down my throat in the form of a class required for graduation.

Anyway.. not much else except work and school.. hanging out with friends here and there.

I met the vet today, and she says my pony just has arthritis, and that swelling above her knee is really just something like "varicose veins" in people.

So I now have alfalfa flavored bute to give her when she needs it.  It was only like $24.00.

It's cheaper to buy medicine for my horse than it is for my dog (though the discount helps).

Ok, so, I found this yesterday:

I love Beagles. Period.
I love short ones, tall ones, fat ones, thin ones, shy ones, in-your-face obnoxiously friendly ones, tri-colored, bi-colored, silly ones, stately ones, aroooooo til your ears bleed ones - just love 'em all. One more thing- the houndier the better. :-) It's a major affliction, this Beagle-loving. I think it's mine for life.

I do love me some hound dogs and fuzzy retrievers. I know everyone else at work hates them, but there is nothing like a good beagle howl to make my day better. Or a fuzzy yellow dog to hug. I miss my fuzzy yellow dog. I'm going to cry now. Okay, I am way too attached to the fuzzies.

sigh.

So I deleted all the old entries. Here's a new one, just to make people happy. I really don't ever know what to write in these silly things anyway.

So. I'm not geeky enough to be a geek, not cool enough to be a cool person, and abnormally out of place in the middle. Any suggestions on what to do?
